Common questions
Before you sign up.
Does AI decide who gets a refund?
No. Your written return policy, applied by fixed rules, decides eligibility and the refund amount. The AI inspects photos and suggests; your team makes the call.
What if the AI isn't sure?
It says so — a verdict can come back as unclear, and the item goes to a person. If inspection is unavailable, the return still goes through and the item simply waits for a human to grade it.
Is my customers' personal data sent to the AI?
Names and email addresses are never sent. The model sees the return photo, the product, and the reason given.
Do I need a developer?
No. You connect Shopify from your workspace and add a Start a return button to your theme.
